BlackHoleSun uit Eindhoven is opgericht rond 2012 en smelt spacerock, progressieve rock en psychedelica samen tot een geheel eigen sound. In langere songs met tempowisselingen worden dromerige en dreigende stukken verwerkt. In 2012 kwam de eerste EP uit en in 2016 de tweede. Invloeden zijn er o.a. van Hawkwind, Monster Magnet, Genesis, Pink Floyd en Black Sabbath.
The sound: Blend some 70's hard rock with stoner, progressive and psychedelic space rock and there you have it.
BlackHoleSun does not pursue a certain sound or does not pursue to sound like any other act. The outcome of their music is probably the sum of the input of the individuals, who are - obviously - influenced by the music and sounds that surround them.....
