Formed in Jan 2017 Carolines are an unsigned four piece indie band based in Cardiff. Ashley Kidd (vocals & rhythm guitar), Sion Michael Kendall (Lead Guitar), Tyler Vaughan (Bass) and Gwaredd Jones (Drums). The four music students joined together and have performed their original material which takes influences from Stereophonics, Catfish & The Bottlemen and Arctic Monkeys all across Wales. Their debut self titled EP was released in Jan 2018 to a sell out launch party in Cardiff and has been played on BBC Introducing Wales. Adam Walton called the track (18) "A ready made classic, with anthemic catchy riffs and memorable lyrics”. Their music is available across all of the usual platforms and their Spotify account has just achieved over 40000 plays. Summer time is all about gigs and festivals and they especially enjoyed playing Isle Of Wight Festival 2019, plus two new singles "Inbetween" & "Electric" were recorded with legendary Charlie Francis. In 2019 Carolines were selected by This Feeling as one of their Big In 2019 acts, this also lead to being featured on Fred Perrys Subculture and Deezer playlists where their music was listed.
