Humanotone

Humanotone

Humanotone is a solo musical project formed by Jorge Cisternas in 2013 in Coquimbo, Chile. Humanotone goes between catchy and groovy stoner rock riffs mixed with the heaviness of doom metal and the instrumental ethereal passages of psychedelic & progressive rock.
"What ties these tracks together is a heavy fuzzed out sludgy sound. But there is also a real diversity to the tracks. Condena Natural and Corre are very heavy, and Vudú Masivo gets even louder. But there are also tracks like La Verdad and Lucidez which contain less heavy sections and more sedate vocals. I really dig all the tracks on Humanotone s/t so I usually just play it start to end" (www.fuzzycracklins.com)
"We are fascinated how he gets the rhythmic doom undertones to blend so well with the high-pitched fretwork. We hear moments of Satriani, Maiden and Crowbar but somehow the flow works and the album progresses quite intriguingly. While we prefer his distant spacial melodic vocals we do appreciate the fervor and texture afforded with the heavier metal vocals" (www.rotation11.com)
"Indudablemente, Humanotone es un proyecto que nos ha dejado más que satisfechos, gracias a su gran calidad compositiva, el gran manejo que Cisternas tiene en los diversos instrumentos presentes en el trabajo, y la increíble manera en la que logra fusionar todas sus influencias sin dejar de lado su sonido propio" (www.rockalavena.cl)

A flourishing fall in a grain of sand
A Flourishing Fall in a Grain of Sand is a collection of ideas that emerged between 2017 and 2019.
In October 2020, after finishing the Sunvher album (sunvher.bandcamp.com/album/sunvher), I went back to listen to the material and began to land the compositions. Finally at the beginning of the year 2021, I finished the definitive structures and arrangements.
All the songs were inspired by the sea and are a way of thanking the healing power it had on me during rough times.
Dedicated to all the people who have been lost to themselves, and also to those who have lost their battle.
