Robert James: MUSICIAN, SONG WRITER, BORN IN MONTREAL CANADA, SOLO ENGINEER AND PRODUCER OF ORIGINAL MUSIC, inspired by music such as, "Roxy Music" "King Crimson" "Allan Holdsworth' " Gentle Giant " Brian Eno " "The Who " " Pink Floyd " "David Bowie " to name just a few. Coming from a large artistic family of seven siblings, I Started an original three piece rock band in the mid seventies called "SNO " { Basement band } Members were, my brother, Ronnie James, on Drums, my friend, Danny Carpenter, musician, song writer on guitars, and myself on bass. for a short time we experimented, playing only original music, to this day we still occasionally get together and jam at Danny's home studio in Montreal. Around the early 80"s I also collaborated with another friend of mine Brian Letual , a musician, song writer and drummer, we recorded a few songs together at his home studio in Montreal. we also joined with two other musicians to form a band called 4x4, we played a couple of gigs, played some cover songs and a few original, we all kept our day jobs! as the years passed my younger brother Allen James, musician, song writer, and I began to collaborate writing music and creating songs. "some of this music to be released in the near future. My son, Christer James and 4 brothers, Ron, Allen, John, Brian, all are musicians. My both sisters, Draw and paint. more collaborations with my son, Christer James, Danny Carpenter, Brian Letual, Ronnie James, Brian James, John James, and Allen James to be expected.
