Polar Fever was formed by Vasia Bratchuk and Robert Szulc, who met in 2011 at a Muse gig in Nijmegen.
Both were involved in several bands along the way (MUTE, Sura project, The Last Walkers).
Both were living and studying in Eindhoven.
In 2015 they recorded their first demo of a song called "Yellow Regret" at Reyn Ouwehand's studio.
They were locally well-received playing gigs at such venues as PopEi, Gaslab, Altstadt and winning in a battle of bands called De Kleine Prijs van Nederland.
The whole album was recorded over the course of 2 years individually in an "online" fashion (Robert and Vasia being in different locations) and completely self produced.
