The Electrix is a group of accomplished musicians, each with a lifetime of diverse experience in the music field, formed in 1995.
They are known as one of the leading jam bands in the New York area, covering all of Long Island, Brooklyn, Queens, NYC and more, performing their renditions of the Grateful Dead and Allman Brothers classics, other related genres of music, and original compositions.
The Electrix weave in and out of intense jams with an incredible amount of enthusiasm and feeling, adding their own interpretation and style.
The Electrix have had the opportunity to share the stage and perform together with such notables as the late drummer Levon Helm {The Band}, the late fiddle player Vassar Clements {Old & in the Way}, pedal steel guitarist Buddy Cage {The New Riders of the Purple Sage}, and guitarist/vocalist Michael Falzarano {Hot Tuna & New Riders}.
The Electrix also perform as The Acoustix, an acoustic trio version of the band, with a bluegrass sound and repertoire.
MINDS EYE is an all original Metal band from Frederick, MD USA founded in 1991, starting out as a group of ambitious musicians and friends playing music in their parents basements and garages. MINDS EYE has been on a long journey of sharing musical inspiration, from the 90's grunge era to the current nu metal era. MINDS EYE is Influenced by many inspirational groups such as Rush, Black Sabbath, Tool, A Perfect Circle, Sound Garden, Stone Temple Pilots, Metallica, and many more. Their influences have inspired them to keep their metal roots and extend them with the new flavors of genre's while never creeping far from their original taste. The love for Music is what inspires them and will always remain constant as they venture into new endeavors. Minds Eye strives to keep music of all types alive and well, supporting good causes and devoting their time to do what they can to make it happen.

Here you can listen to The Cohorts debut album 'Friends Shuffled Apart,' featuring 10 tracks that play the way a 45 minute rock ride should. The album was predominately recorded and mixed in the home studio of Cohorts front man James Thorogood before being sent for a final mastering.
Aside from fronting the band, James Thorogood plays Guitar on the album along with Matt Clavette. Clavette performs the majority of the lead guitar. The Rhythm section features Marc Gibson on Drums and Dave Raude on Bass. Raude is no longer with The Cohorts. Thorogood is the band’s primary songwriter.
The band is hoping to release a sophomore effort in late 2011 or early 2012. Thorogood has also started recording a solo record with the help of Gibson on the drums.
